You're life would make a terrific romantic comedy. You go through your twenties and early thirties without being able to commit to one man, instead focusing on your career and family. But one day you randomly meet a guy who you would not normally be interested in, perhaps at the bookstore where you find a common interest in French literature. Through a series of quirky events and encounters you find yourself falling in love, but your heart doesn't know how to handle this newfound emotion. At about the two-month mark you come to a crossroads. Will you leave him like you have all the rest, or have you finally found the one. An unexpected disturbance, such as an old girlfriend or job transfer, will make it inevitable that history will repeat itself, but alas love has conquered and you will seek him out and gloriously make out in the rain.

My wife would watch it. I'd make fun of it.

Did you forget the part just when you think it's all lost where Hugh Grant gives a speech or a song or something else stupidly public where he confesses his love for BDB and all becomes well.

Trust me if my life was a movie it would definitely be a comedy, and definitely not a romantic comedy.

Oh man, you're setting yourself up big time! You'll find love before you even know it. Hopefully the movie will show this internet exchange. Maybe it will lead with it.
