The Saudi ban on women driving
I heard an NPR piece this morning on the Saudi ban on women driving. I'm out of patience for these people's stupid, atavistic and oppressive beliefs and practices. It's especially vexing among our supposed allies. It's even unbearable that NPR runs a human interest piece on it, in a strange way dignifying this ugly nonsense. These morons deserve anything other than our utter contempt, and it's the strongest argument for moving away from fossil fuels as far as I'm concerned. Lest we forget the Suadis (a monarchy that conducts public executions for Pete's sake) spawned Osama Bin Ladin and no doubt still finance him informally.
Now watch tooblue will say I'm bigoted against Muslims.
