Places to run at the U
Anybody know of any good places (like a track, outdoor or indoor) to run at the U that are open to the general public? Or if not at the U, someplace nearby?
Thanks! |

My guess is that East High School is the closest by with an open track?

We already discussed this but here are some good runs for the future:
1. 11th Avenue Run--you have old cool homes along with an amazing cemetary and great views of the city. 2. Sunnyside Avenue--you can start up at the mouth of immigration canyon and run down to Foothill and then over to the U campus. It would end up being around 4 miles. 3. East High or West High Track--the East High track is obviously closer. West High has a good track but it would be a 7-8 mile drive to get downtown to use it. Other interesting runs in the area include: Memory Grove which is a fabulous run with some dips and some ups. Any of the avenue streets are interesting because of the homes and the people. |

I used to see Urban Meyer and an assistant jogging on the normal pathways throughout campus.
