Default a womans influence on the creation....

im reading abraham 4 and read this passage....

26 And the Gods took acounsel among themselves and said: Let us go down and form man in our image, after our likeness; and we will give them dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So the Gods went down to organize man in their own bimage, in the image of the Gods to form they him, male and female to form they them.

specifically in 27, 'gods went down' and 'in the image of the gods to form they him, male and female'.....

this is implying that females participated in the creation correct? and this scripture backs that up right?

when chapter 3 of abraham and 4 talk of gods, is this a reference to the godhead? or a reference to the first, first presidency of the church, god, jesus, adam? or a reference to exalted beings?

i find it interesting that the early civilizations include a woman figure as part of their deity royalty....

The general theme of the book is that the Catholic church stripped out all references to the feminine divine. It's an entertaining read.

if you google search holy ghost female it comes up with this website that maintains that the holy ghost was considered feminine until the 5th century...

http://www.experiencefestival.com/holy_ghost

also check this passage of proverbs 8....

1 DOTH not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

she stands at high places, cries at the gates, calls unto the son of man, is a voice unto this men, and is a voice of wisdom and understanding....

interesting this voice of wisdom and understand is feminine....
