Default Ever noticed this scripture?

Quote:
John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."
That's a lot of books. Either John was prone to exaggeration, or Jesus did a lot of things that we don't even know about yet.

One idea is that, like the city of Enoch being translated, "the world not being able to contain the books" means the works were too great for mankind to associate with.

The world is not ready to hear of those works because the world is not worthy to know, or the world is incapable of understanding such deep doctrine.

Default I view it how Ute4ever ...

... spoke above. Clearly the world could physically contain minute writings of every single thing Jesus did. If John was speaking literally, then he was definitely exaggerating. But I do not think he was mainly speaking literally.
