I think Amnesty International is a virulently anti-American organization, but they do impressive work in identifying true human rights violations in other countries.

This is an impressive article on the use of satellite technology to peel back the lying fronts of some horribly brutal regimes.

I'm frankly amazed at how little America pays attention to what's going on in Darfur.

I don't think that it is that no one is paying attention, but what can we as individuals do? Write our congessmen? They already know. The inertia is amazing. and tragic.
