And the freefall begins...
BYU drops to 7th (Utah 12th, TCU 15th).
http://www.mratings.com/cf/compare.htm The computers are going to hurt us from here on out. Disclaimers to prevent flaming this post: I know this includes a lot of non-BCS computer polls but I still think it's a cool site. I also realize 6th to 7th doesn't constitute a freefall, but I do see us continuing to drop, as UCLA and UW get exposed, at least until we hit our harder conference games. |

TCU beating Oklahoma is key to the very slim chances of playing in the MNC game.

See my post last week.
http://cougarguard.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22492 I haven't updated this projection with this week's data, but this is still a good guideline. |

with so many sec and big 12 teams at the top, instead of being spread out among the conferences, this really does set up many of these teams to fall in the rankings as they lose to one another.

Obviously teams will drop, but not like flies, and not enough to get us in there. |

When you say get us in "there", do you mean NC game? If so, I agree. We can't schedule Utah State and a non D1 team and expect to have an SOS to justify NC game--even when the MWC is having a good year. |
