Does anybody watch these shows?

I HATE "Man vs. Wild." Every time I watch that show I end up yelling at the tv because the dumbass is doing one more thing that will get a person killed in real life. If he would just come out and admit that his show is just a creative attempt at a new McGuyver I might think it was entertaining.

Survivorman doesn't bug me that much. The guy at least makes an attempt at being real. He doesn't do overwhelmingly stupid things and he isn't afraid to call it quits and show that he'd die if it were a real situation.

Well considering man vs wild is fake, he can afford to do crazy things. For example the pacific island episode he was actually in Hawaii, he slept in a hotel at night, and the crew built and tested the raft before he set sail on it.
