He is this year's boogeyman.

He is the Democratic answer to Yuckabee with an agenda against the middle class. 250K is still middle class dude.

Opposing AA isn't racism, and supporting it certainly isn't thievery. Saying that someone who benefited from AA "cheated" IS, however, blatantly racist.

If most of the people I know earn that much or more, it seems improbable that I'm living amongst the 1 percent wealthiest. Most of them are working night and day and are not rich. In today's world, with costs being what they are, that is NOT wealthy or rich.

It's just a moderately good income level. I've seen 500kers struggle. I really don't believe those numbers.

You have to remember Archaea, that liberals put the average income at the poverty line and go from there.

I have seen wealthy, and most people I know are NOT wealthy.

Wealthy are those guys and gals worth hundreds of millions or billions. They are in a different world. However, guys or gals making less than a million are just like you and I, normal folk, who found an angle to make a decent living. It is absurd to punish the middle class, the ones who actually start businesses.

let me adjust that figure to 1.5%

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Househo..._United_States

What you see is in part true. Most of the wealth accumulated the past 30 years has been to the top 0.01%. Ridiculous CEO pay that is uncorrelated with performance.

This reminds me of a story my professor told. He was teaching Econ 110 when he popped the question, "What happens when the government imposes price controls?" A kid stands up and says, "That's one step away from communism!" The professor replied, "Uh, no...we get deadweight loss."

I really feel for these people. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to own 5 sports cars and yet only have a 4 car garage. That is nothing short of hardship.

If you're making 500K and you're struggling financially, you have a real problem.
