Default NBC's Olympic Coverage is baffling

and maddening and ridiculous. I turn the it on at 7:30 pm and am treated to 2 hours of stick women in the streets of Beijing. I know the marathonis imopirtant, but can they reallty not find ANYTHING else to show except the marathon without a break, even, for over an hour? On the alternate channel I only have australia vs Russia womens BBall. These guys are klilling me.

I'm with you. The smart thing for NBC to do would be to give us updates on the marathon while showing other events. But then, isn't NBC last in the ratings of the 4 major networks? Based on the Olympics coverage, it's easy to see why.

If you have Directtv you get like 10 olympic channels. Also MSNBC and USA both have the Olympics on all the time.

My problem is the fact that It says Phelps swims at 10:55 eastern, I tune in at 8:55 mountain time and they are still an hour away. I get it tape delayed an hour later it is like they are showing us a sitcom or something. This is a live event show it on the east coast at 10 and the west coast at 7.

Not for those of us w/o satlelite. AS I mentioned the only choice I had was the marathon or a women's BBall game.
