Default Soldier Creek Campground on Strawberry Reservoir

It took some searching but I found a spot at this campground big enough for my RV next weekend. Anybody been there? Any recommendations, cautions, etc. regarding ways to get there, roads, etc.?

I have been waterskiing at Strawberry many times. Never once in an RV.

But Strawberry is great. You will have a nice time.

I take it you have chosen to skip the football game/season opener? Heresy.

Nope. The campground is 70 miles from LES. So we'll go to the game.

I'll state the obvious and point out that US40 east is the best way to get there.

IMO, the best fishing is where the Strawberry River feeds into the reservoir or near the dam at Soldier Creek.

Hope that helps.
