I was impressed by Eliapo in the TCU game. When Louie pinned TCU at the 1 yard line with one of his punts in I think the 3rd quarter, Eliapo made 2 huge plans at the line of scrimmage if I remember correctly. I thought he played well against TCU and I agree he will probably get the majority of the snaps in the BYU game.

You are correct about Eliapo during that particular series. On one play, he slipped into the A gap and made a big hit on the RB and the next play he filled that same gap and forced the RB to turn outside where Misi was waiting to make a stop.

Eliapo is surprisingly quick for his size. He's a lot of fun to watch.

Personally, I think it's a predictability issue. The O-line IS making blocks, and they ARE getting decent push at the line. Watching the SDSU game again, what I noticed is that safeties & LBs are EXTREMELY aggressive in attacking the gaps.

I think there's something to be said for the familiarity the MWC teams have with BYU's running attack. They're recognizing some sort of key, and they're able to all-out attack without having to worry about getting beat over the top.

It'd be REALLY nice to identify that key & correct it...
