Default Pres Bush speaking right now about new FISA law

I think I just heard him say something about our republic reorganizing into the first American Empire!

January can't get here soon enough. God willing, it won't be Obama.

No, Obama voted for the new FISA law. You know, the one he said he would filibuster during the primary campaign? He was against it before he was for it.

Yet another reason the country does not need Obama.

Hold on, hold on, I got this one.

"He's not saying anything differently than he has said before. A true leader sees changing situations and adapts to them."

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Kidding aside, I do think it is fair to ask if there is anyone including Obama who knows what he truly believes. I do think it is interesting to see that you have to get about as far left as is possible in national politics to get the Democrat nomination and then move hard back to the right for the general election. Obviously Obama thinks that the country is not where the democrat party is.

And I think that you might, might even be able to sell that idea on something like Iraq. But this is just a pure shift in philosophy. We sure went the rounds on this board over these FISA powers. I wonder how the opponents of it here feel about Obama selling them out.

IOW, Obama is not for change, but for doing and saying what is necessary to get elected. He isn't principled at all.

Bill Clinton might have a run for his money for the title of most pure politician in Obama.

McCain is all over the place, moreso than Obama I would say.

You all should be celebrating that Obama is moving right.

McCain has always been moving all over the place. He just doesn't claim to be different. Obama's move to the right is about political expediency, not principle.

The only time I will celebrate when it comes to Obama, will be if he is not elected as POTUS.

Remember Mike, Obama is anti-2nd Amendment.
