Default French debates look like a game show

The set looks like it belongs on ESPN or Who Wants to be a Millionaire. I do like how they make the candidates face each other during the debate, head to head confrontation is fun to watch.

We watched off and on. I don't know French or the issues well enought to know who got the best of who. I just kept watching the timers below each candidate hoping they would muzzle whomever got to 60 minutes first and let the other one use up the rest of the time. Sego got there first and she busted right though 60 minutes moving onto 70. Windbag.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
