Default One thing I hate about Huckabee

and the other Republican candidates is their criticism/mocking of Mitt using his personal fortune to help finance his campaign. Disgusting rhetoric coming from Republicans.

They do seem to be peeved that he has helped financed his campaign with his money. Maybe they're just ticked that the Mormon doesn't need as much government assistance as they do.

I think it's smart to point out how much more he's spending than they are.

Sure, but to focus on where he gets his money reeks of class warfare. That's a bad sign for the pro-capitalist wing of the Republican party. If you had a TV with a cable or satellite connection and saw it live you'd know how disgusting it is.

Huckabee is getting criticized for taking time off from the campaign to give speeches on weight loss for 10,000 a pop or so.

His defense is "how else am I to feed my family if I don't work?"

Huck is not from the same world as Mitt. Huck is poor. Mitt is rich.

Huck is poor compared to Mitt. Huck's not poor.

His kids looked very well fed in that photo that was on this site.

Huckabee comes across as a whiner who doesn't like that Romney is smarter and made more money in his career.

It's ridiculous. As if any one of them wouldn't be doing the same thing if they had as much money as Mitt? Mitt should use this fact to his advantage, and tell the people by using his own money, he is not eligible for federal matching funds, which is the taxpayers' money! Unlike that scumbag Edwards, who has millions, yet is still taking federal funds, and continues to spend it even though he has no chance to win.

Why is a crime to be successful and wealthy? Do we want our president to come from the welfare lines?

Neither Barack nor Hillary are poor. But not much is made of that.

In one respect, it shows Mitt puts his money where his mouth is. In another respect, it shows the others are freeloaders living off the contributions of others.

The photo of Huck's kids does show they're not starving.

I'm saying that while Mitt is getting criticism for being rich, Huckabee is getting criticism for earning any money at all.

How would you like to make 100k a year, and be considered a material sell-out, unworthy to be president because of your greed?
