As far as having a comeback better than yours, that really isn't a source of pride. I don't take any pride in being able to tie my shoes all by myself without my mommy's help in the morning either.

Don't have time to read through all of these posts, so forgive me if this has already been answered.

You're probably talking about Christian scientists. And I believe that there have been court cases regarding negligent care of minors. I know that if a Christian scientist child comes to the ER needing medical attention, we can obtain an immediate court order to provide it, even if against the parent's wishes. The same applies to Jehovah's Witnesses and blood transfusions.
