Just make us laugh, that's all we ask. Laughing is good for the soul and a proven cancer cure. We don't want to be grim. Au contraire.

SU, you were coming off like a Church PR guy being asked about polygamous connections in Elizabeth Smart's abduction.

I was just going for a laugh--that's all.

I put that video on UFN, and it is ruffling feathers there too. One poster has already defended the medical accusations.

The two things that stir people into a frenzy the most are anti-religion remarks, followed by political propaganda.

SIEQ, here's the other side of the coin. What if I did a video with a kid with spiked purple hair, a ragged t-shirt and gruesome tatoos saying, "I'm voting democrat because I want to drop out of school and cash welfare checks and get free hypdermic needles." Would that be funny? No. Two can play that game, but it's not funny. There's no subtlety, no artistry, no humor.

From a more liberal Democratic perspective, that sort of thing brings chuckles. And we Republicans need to laugh at ourselves a bit, but it seemed too cliche to rate rousing laughter.

Suggestion noted.

Okay, okay, there was one part that was funny, that being the suggestion that Republicans are behind moves to big-box retailers that just sell plastic crap from China.

That's a real laugher and speaks to Dem elitism.

Look, if you want to take it lightly, that is fine. Where do you get off telling me how I should take it. I saw the ad and thought it was a piece of shit add. If you love it, fine, we just disagree.

I don't understand this attitude. You post it and people comment on it. Do you only want people who loved the clip to post?
