LOL. No, but people were joking that he should have. They actually could have scored again at the end of the first half but they let the clock run out.

Coach Wong is big on bulletin board fodder. You can rest assured that he used it to motivate the team. You have to do something to keep the boys focused I guess. They have won about 30 games in a row, a state record. Last I heard, they were ranked around 15th nationally. SI did a story on them earlier this season.

This will date me, but I remember when Coach Wong came to play for BYU. I was working and going to school over the summer and as I drove my route around campus I started noticing this huge Chinese/Hawaiian-looking kid working on the grounds crew cutting grass et al. I finally realized it was Louis Wong, a prized recruit out of Hawaii, and he was out in the heat working the grounds at BYU. I guess all the jobs watering the sod at then Cougar Stadium were taken.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Scott Mitchell used to throw apples at cars while safely perched in a tree that stood in front of my elementary school principal's house. What a douche.
