You don't see the poetry there? These are Epics in the ancient sense describing man's struggle to overcome, to dominate, to control. This is the very poetry of man's soul.
We agree on golf, which leaves me slightly out of sorts.

The poetry of the natural man, maybe. But I'm talking about the poetry of the better man; Abe Lincoln's "better angel" man; the man of Emerson and Wordsworth.
