Not true

1. when I started the site, it was set so that I had to personally activate accounts.

2. Robin signed up, I let him know I wouldn't immediately activate his account. The reasons are well documented.

3. Robin took exception and asked that his account be deleted.

4. Robin has since obviously signed up again and said all he wants to his hearts content.

5. Robin was denied entrance to CP via a procedure that was agreed to by common consent, way before he showed up (in other words, not a procedure that I imposed on the site).

The STATED reasons are well documented. I doubt that the stated reasons are the actual reasons.

My response to that would be "I didn't trust you to not muck up the works."

This community is now established, and I venture to say that it is impossible for you to muck it up (in the hypothetical situation that would have the desire to).

Certainly, not everyone has to agree with my original decision. I wanted to set the tone myself, for better or worse.

And to tell you the truth, I don't recall EVER receiving a suspension over on CB. That's probably a badge of shame in these parts. I need to try harder, I guess.
