Max has caused some minor hysteria.
http://www.azcentral.com/sports/card...e-plummer.html On Monday morning he was the lead story on Espn.com. I think Max needs to be careful. He could be overplaying his hand a little, kind of like he did at BYU. Where the tough talk seemed to ring hollow with some poor performances in big games. On the other hand, when the wave is perfect you ride it as long as you can. |

Max looked terrible this past week against the Seahawks. He was replaced in the 2nd half by Derek Anderson, and the team started moving the ball much better. I had thought he was benched, but now I am reading that he was actually pulled because of a concussion.
As bad as the Cardinals are, they still have a good shot at the playoffs because of how horrible their division is. It will be interesting to see what they do with Hall next. Is he back to being backup again, until the inevitable flameout by Anderson? |

Max had a tough game. Threw 2 pick-6s. The first one was arguably not his fault, as he was blindsided due to a missed block. The second one was definitely entirely his fault.
Derek Anderson looked much better. However, Derek pulled his usual stunt, throwing an interception at the end, in scoring position. Derek is not the longterm answer to anything. The question is whether Max is either. |

Another tough game for Max today. An interception to kill one drive. And a fumble + dislocated shoulder on the next drive.
It's very clear that he doesn't have 1) the arm strength to make NFL throws, and 2) the size and strength to hold up against NFL defenses. I don't know that I expect him to start ever again in an NFL game after today. |
