Wow. Interesting article. If any place is primed for a "correction", it would be California.

Do you suppose we may end up with "Californication" in reverse? People moving to California to take advantage of good housing prices? Could it be that I could finally afford to live in Santa Barbara? Or Monterrey? I doubt it.

Santa Barbara is my dream too Jeff. Alas, I'm afraid the continuing corrections will only mean that the 1 million dollar, 1300 sq/ft tract home is now available for 600K.

that "great deal" is still outrageous.

The market needs to adjust, prices need to fall, and houses need to be affordable again.

If California is to prosper. Of course, we can all agree, who cares if CA prospers.
