Default My thoughts on the game

1. Can we get Dan Fouts to move to the mtn? Additionally, its night and day as far as production values go for CBS CS against versus and the mtn.

2. Cougjunkie and hot lunch were right. Andy Dalton is a lot better than I gave him credit for. He manages games well and doesnt make many mistakes. He several times threw the ball away instead of trying to force something. The interception at the end of the half proved to be huge for Utah but that was almost like a punt.

3. I feel for TCU's Ross Evans... Utah has been through that too many times. I remember kaneshiro, borreson and cletus.

4. Utah didnt run Mack nearly enough. He was the only back hitting the holes fast enough to gain positive yardage.

5. People will bag on the crappy playcalling which is fine. However, the fumblerooski would have scored a td had brooks not fumbled it.

6. Did TCU ever blitz?

Congrats to the Utes. I wasn't able to watch the whole game, but based on what I saw, while TCU can certainly make a case that they should have won and they just choked, Utah also came up with some huge plays when needed. The two third down sacks to take TCU out of FG position were obviously huge (and stupid of the TCU QB), and while the offense sputtered a lot, the execution in the final drive was very good.

Is that tongue-in-cheek? You mean it would have scored a TD if they hadn't fumbled it and Utah hadn't been flagged for false start?

kind of... TCU was confused and there was no one on east side of field. Of course that was all dependent on Utah not fumbling and not getting a false start. A moot point I guess

didn't see the game but talked to several who did, it sounds as if BYU has a long tough row to hoe.

Who will give me 21 points to take BYU?

Will BYU stop any drive by Utah?
