Default Night riding at the lake

There were parts of the road that had so many bugs that it felt like heavy rain. Clouds of bugs.

Of course, I had no glasses on. Need to get some clear ones.

One of the problems when you are going fast is all the pedestrians, seemingly dressed in black. They can be hard to pick up.

Also, with lights on the bars, when the road/trail curves, you can't pick up what's going to be in that turn, so you have to slow down.

Riding on a road with fewer pedestrians seems to be the better choice.

My winter commute kit includes handle bar lights and a helemt light (which is a LED falshlight I modified myself to mount oin an old helmet). I highly recommend using both.
