Wow...after all these years I find out who the other person was that bought that CD. I bought it because of "Better Days". I think I saw the video and liked it, so of course I had to buy the whole cd to get one song.

I bought this in the Philippines before I had a CD player. I was a big Housemartins fan and heard from a fellow missionary that the lead singer had started a new band. I believe this was actually their second album.

My first cassette was Foreigner - 4, but my parents got it for me, so I figure it doesn't count.

I have the Violent Femmes in my car right now. It never gets old.

It seems like Oingo Boingo used to come to Salt Lake/Park City about three times a year. Always a fun show.

Eagles greatest hits, followed by Bread's greatest hits. I stuck with cassettes until 1992.

TBS is one of my all-time faves. Top 5.

I was also a huge Housie.

I think I saw TBS 5 times over several tours, including for their Welcome to TBS tour back in 1989 or thereabouts.

0898 TBS is their second disc, yes.

Yeah, I've never met a single person who has heard of GUN let alone has that album. I've still got it packed away somewhere.

Hey, did you hear they're getting back together? Solid.

That is a great album. Beautiful South and the Housemartins are terrific.

Boingo did do a ton of shows in SLC. It sure seems like they were there more than once a year. And yes, always fun.
