He's great. I don't know why I never bothered with him before. He not only delivers haunting vocals but he is a legit poet as well.

Yes he's very good. It's too bad that he and Lisa Hannigan had a falling out. She sings on many of his songs with him and has an angelic, almost haunting voice. Check out 9 Crimes for an example. He just played at McKay Events Center.
