I've followed cougargboard from afar the past year or two and have read numerous references to Bernard.

Who can tell me who or what Bernard is? Who started the heisman campaign? Any other info?

a harmless prank we pulled on CB'ers that got blown out of proportion and many people got very angry with us... it was well organized if i do say so myself..

What was the prank? What did it entail? Was it a simple post that said "Bernard 4 Heisman" or did it include more?

Was before my CB time as well, so I'm just wondering...

it was before your time.. we had a website, a fake press release and we even made up T-shirts.. it was great

It only made people angry because it accentuated the hypocrisy of the board management … a clique of posters were permitted to ignore jefe’s sacred rules in the name of being silly!

My diminished presence on Cougar Board can be traced back to that prank.

Those that participated in the Cougar Guard War of May 06 :-P were not afforded the same grace as those that pranked Cougar Board members.
