...prescription medication addiction.

Why do I think this? Because authorities have said no alcohol was involved, yet there may still be charges. And what happened sounds like a driver under the influence.

Of course, being cynical, I think Tiger will claim that he had an "adverse reaction" to medication, which caused the crash.

Well, if it is an addiction to medication, I hope he gets the treatment he needs.

The problem is that he married a wannabe-princess who never heard of The National Enquirer in her foreign nation; saw a report that Tiger was having an affair, and freaked out. She tried "talking" to him about it in the middle of the night when he was half-asleep, put words in his mouth and freaked out all the more and clawed at his face. He went to his car to try and get away from her and she chased after him with a golf club, bashing the rear window.

If there is any justice- which there's not, but if there was- the "pending police charges" will go against her for domestic assault and battery.

Tiger released a vague statement on his website today that didn't give any new information. He said his wife heroically helped him out of the car, he's sorry for the bad example he set, and please respect their privacy.

He still hasn't spoken to the police. On Friday, his wife asked them to return on Saturday because he was sleeping. On Saturday, he asked them to return today. Today, he wasn't home but his agent had his license, registration and insurance info to show them.
