Had Utah continued what it were doing earlier in the season, then I'd say it would be more inconsistent than UCLA.

As for ND, I'm not disappointed at all. I just wish Nebraska was playing as poorly as the Irish.

While this is true, I meant the overall season. Nebraska is sitting at 4-6 after today. A 5 game losing streak by them is fun to see, but it would be so much sweeter if they were in a 9 or 10 game losing streak.

This just in - Lawrence Phillips is no longer at the University of Nebraska. Tom Osborne is no longer their coach. They have not been really dominant in a decade. They haven't had a national scandal in at least a couple of weeks.

Why all the Husker hate? Its time to leave this grudge back in the 90's and pick a new target. Someone fresh. Share the love a little bit.

Sorry, my friend, I can never have anything but hatred for Nebraska. Osborne left a legacy of thugery there and the fact that Nebraska got into the BCS title game several years ago when they didn't even win their conference title only solidified that hate.

For the record, I hate all BCS teams. I just hate some more than others.

I admit it, they didn't deserve to be in the title game in 2001(?) and it showed in their pathetic performance against Miami. Colorado was arguably the best team in the country the last half of the season but just had too much ground to make up to be deemed worthy by the BCS gods.

How many more years of suckery must they endure before they've paid their penance for their past sins of thugery and BCS crockery?

That's cool if you are, but I have no reason to not hate Nebraska. It also doesn't help that I have a brother-in-law (actually, he's married to my wife's older sister) and that family are a part of the Osborne worshipers that live there. (they live in Omaha) He loves to remind me how great Nebraska is and what a fantastic person Osborne is.
