At least it is blue. You might be smarter than most of the nimrods from that county. Might I recommend that for specific BYU purposes change it to Brigham instead of Joseph, namesake of the University and all. Further, Brother Brigham had 65 wives I believe, far more than the Prophet Joseph Smith.

Other than that, Rise and Shout Brother!!!!

On an honest side, do you plan to antagonize mormons and raise a family in Utah County? I went to West Point with Patrick Saatkamp whose father was a Methodist minister in Orem. I just don't think the kid ever recovered. This is no threat, just wonder if you have considered what such an aggressive posture on exposing the "truth" of mormonism will have on your kids growing up in Utah County. Mind you Jesus is really on OUR side. It is one thing to not get past the Utah County high school prom night thigh clamp because your date is the Timpview 65th ward Laurel Class president, another to get it because your dad is the perceived village idiot.

Be well.

Be well.

Hrm... Thanks for the new shirt idea.

My wife and I have counted the cost of being resident iconoclasts and consider it well worth the trouble.

Quote:
"The debt of love that we have to unbelievers and believers is not because they have done anything for us. The debt is because Christ has done everything for us when we did not deserve it any more than the world deserves our love. When Christ loves us freely, when he gives his life for us, when he takes away all our sin and guilt and condemnation, and guarantees for us everlasting joy in him--and all of this when we were his enemies--we become debtors to all men." -John Piper
I think God will take good care of us, including little John.

I think God will take good care of us, including little John.

That might be, but if Little John wants to get any action he might have to join our happy throng.

I recommend having more than one child for some support for the lad. It could get tough. If, however, in your glorious endeavors you could cure us of our insularity I would love you like I love the gentile Jim McMahon, as I have received a firm, I am talking like Vida Guerra buttcheeks who can crack a walnut firm, that his accomplishments for the Lord's University made his calling and election made sure.

If you can't, I genuinely respect your conviction. I have been in your shoes and while I wish you no success in your efforts to tear down what I believe in, I wish you all the best in your other Christian endeavors.

God speed.

But if I run into one day and treat you like Fui Vakapuna treated his Ute loving missionary companion, it ain't personal..OK bro...

Terrific sweatshirt. Coincidently, I wore a similar one to the Notre Dame and Boston College games. Mine said:

Let's nominate Ehrman's Book Misquoting Jesus as the Book of the Month.

Any takers?

Default Hello from LA Ute

I have been, well, gone from here for over a year and did not realize the board is still around. Sorry, guys!!! Ute4Ever prodded me into returning.

So I will be posting here from time to time.

Dumb question: How does one actually start a thread???

Happy New Year.

LA Ute
