unfortunately I learned nothing about what he does. Maybe he's responsible for determining who gets a sticker on his helmet.

Are you familiar with Bill James's Runs Created? Everything you do at the plate (OBP. SLG) translates into equivalent runs. He's done the same for football, for each player.
