Has anybody else viewed "the Raid"?
It involves a POW camp in the Phillipines as MacArthur is coming, and the efforts of some locals to assist them.
Produced in 2004, but I hadn't heard about it. Not bad.

The Great Raid was based on the book "Ghost Soldiers".
The book is excellent and a haunting account of the Survivors of the Bataan Death March, their incarceration and then being saved in that rescue operation. The movie sucked.
