In my ongoing effort to overcome my "nothing of substance to add" problem I throw out the following:

I never cared much about girl's names, but here's a couple my wife liked:

Georgia
Abigail (so we could call her Abby for short. With John Adams fever sweeping the nation this name will probably become too wildly popular for my taste.)

We went with option #1.

Now boy's names, well I've got a few opinions:

Hamish
Angus (so he could one day be known as "Angry Angus", possible the coolest nickname of all time.)
Callum

I should note that I was overruled on all these and we settled on Jackson. But with a x instead of a ck and a z instead on an s. So it's actually Jaxzon. Got to represent.

I'm sure you know it's spelled "Amidala," right? If you're going to insult those of us who've named our children after Star Wars characters, at least spell them right!

Excuse me now, I must attend to little Jango and Boba ...

Whatever you decide to name your new baby, make him/her extra cool by playing this at night...

You can listen to samples of the whole series at the myspace page...AC/DC, Nirvana, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, U2, and a ton more.

My daughters name is Makayla, my sons name will be Malakai.

Some friends of mine just had babies the names were as follows:

Boys:

Tristan
Lleyton (after the Tennis player Lleyton Hewitt)
Cael

Girls:
Elle
Ava
Payton

Also you could use landpokes suggesstion, Picabo Streets parents let her pick her own name when she was 5. They called her baby until then.

That was just me not living up to my "contributing something of substance" pledge. We pussed out and gave him the common spelling: Jackson.
