I have a colleague who is Muslim, from India I believe.

She is very nice, and I don't think she has a violent bone in her body, and if she had any private sympathy for terrorism, I would be shocked.

But she is somewhat controlling of her children. Her children are going to be doctors and they have no choice about it.

But that is not specific to Islam, I think it is more a near east immigrant thing.

Mormons, we never really fought back against the people that persecuted and killed us.

To kill people over a cartoon? Incomprehensible.

God will take care of the oppressive Muslim countries. Those that do evil in the name of Allah will receive their condemnation, in this life and the next.

That the West will have to kill so many more Muslims in self-defense is truly sad.

i am always tearful when i see innocent afghans who once had one of the most beautiful and wealthy country o and now the only thing they are dealing with is "absolute misery" ,islamic extremists are horrible ..and its shameful to call them "islamic.." and they make a very bit part of muslims but they arenot the ONLY thing the world has to face with ..i hope you take my point.

I think this is the first reasonable post you have made in this thread. The problem is, it was like pulling teeth to get you to this point. That's the point the other posters were making about moderate islam as a whole as well.
