Gay marriage........so here's the bottom line
1) First Presidency issues a letter suggesting members support Prop 8 in time and money.
2) Members.......nice opinion, my own revelation tells me the 1st Presidency is up in the night and they will oppose Prop 8 So which side are you on?

I live in Murray. I have no say in Prop 8 so it's irrelevant.

That reminds me. Have any of you non-californians been asked to donate $$ to the cause? It wasn't just Pennsylvanians that turned back Pickett's charge, you know.

When I attended the ward in south LA, the bishop said that his parents' ward in Arizona had been asked to donate.

Nope. There has never been no word mentioned about Prop 8 in my ward or stake. It's all up to you folks in California.

They suggest many things, such as storing a year's supply of food. Failure to do so won't keep anyone out of the kingdom of heaven.
This is a real stretch. I haven't seen a single post where a person claims they received personal revelation on the issue. But if you need to lie in order to make your case, go join the pharisees. |
