Default San Antonio

My brother did his 4 years of undergrad at the Univ. of Utah, completed medical school at Creighton and has been doing his residency back here in Salt Lake for the last few years. Now he needs to pay back the Air Force and they are sending him and his family to San Antonio for the next 4 years... then he'll do a 2 year fellowhip I think when he's done with Texas.. So my question is, what major college program do the residents of San Antonio follow? Univ. of Texas? aTm? TCU? Texas Tech? Baylor?

Probably all of the above, but I would guess that unless you're in College Station, Waco or Lubbock that most cheer for UT.

And TCU? lol.....they have a tiny stadium and never fill it...so I can't imagine them having much of a following.

San Antonio is only about an hour and a half from Austin. And they are both considered in the "Hill Country". So I would guess UT would be much more popular there than any of the others.

Screw college teams, he can now cheer for the Spurs.

Waco is not far down the pike from San Antonio, so I'll bet you can find quite a few loyal Baylor alums there. There are a lot of military in the area, so probably a wide variety of sports loyalties.

They have the Spurs, of course. That and Futbol.

I have only seen two examples of Baylor clothing on a person in the last 10 years.
