His interpretation of it is at odds with those typically viewed as politically supportive of the most common interpretations of the amendment. In short, he is for all intents and purposes against private citizens' rights to bear arms.

Folks, it is important that we not only depict Obama as anti-gun (which he is), we also need to emphasize his double-speak and deception.

He needs to be seen for what he is.

You have always been the trailblazer, Waters. How is your investigation into his Kenyan nationality going? Show us who he REALLY is!

He wants to limit the right to own weapons. How is that being pro-2nd amendment?

? Think this one through, Il Pad. Name me a single right in the Bill of Rights that has no restriction whatsoever. Does favoring any restriction on a right mean you are opposed to that right?

You are smarter than to try this ploy. Yes i understand your analysis, but you know the symbol of assault bans send to gun owners.

I already did. He is supporting the rights that that he believes are contained within the second amendment and supporting the restrictions that he believes are in accordance with the second amendment. Answer my question, please.

Who cares about the "symbol" sent to gun owners? I think we have more problems than that.

To say that people have a constitutional right to own assault weapons seems to me to be devoid of any legal basis at all.

I disagree. I believe the Constitution guarantees those rights to all adult citizens with full citizen rights. Anybody else is not supportive my correct view of the Constitution. Hence, Obama is an anti-gun advocate.
