I just don't understand why you are repeating yourself over and over again. The responses in this thread are more than sufficient to answer your question.

Maybe you should rephrase: "I refuse to understand."

the bottom line on hating a person you've rarely or almost never met, is that it is an irrational response to behavior or perceived behavior of a public figure.

Hate and anger seem to be secondary emotions covering some other emotion, more fundamental. What she stands for, threatens what we cherish.

She threatens in our minds, our way of life, and that is threatening enough to cause us to despise her.

As I pose this question to my Hillary-hating friends and family, the responses I receive tend to be shallow, trivial, and in general, complete Red Herrings. Nothing of any particular depth or substance. My step-dad actually made the argument, straight-faced, that he despises her because he's convinced she's a lesbian (why else would she have stayed with Bill after the Monica debacle?). Republicans don't seem to have similar feelings toward Obama or Edwards...just Hillary.

I'm not particularly enamored by Hillary myself, but I certainly don't hold any real contempt for her. Somebody tell me why all you Republicans do.
Are you freaking kidding me? Have you been living on Mars the last 15 years?
If you have paid any attention at all to her, you wouldn't need to ask this idiotic question.

This stream has been a perfect example of what I'm referring to. The answers I get are almost always "she's a bitch," or "she's ugly," or "I don't like her voice," or she has a negative aura" or "haven't you been paying attention?" I probably would have gotten more thoughtful responses from those buffoons on Cougarboard. I'm amazed at the black vs white, us vs them, party line mentality on CG.

Actually, that is Serena. And yes, she has a big, round, beautiful, black butt.

You don't know the posters well enough to read the dripping sarcasm.

Nonetheless, you have your answer, so stop whining.

Maybe you should go back to CB. I agree with the OP that while Hillary is not a good candidate, it's difficult to get any of the haters to intelligently express why that is. This thread demonstrated that quite nicely.
