So far, I haven't killed anyone, so I haven't encountered sufficiently favorable odds yet.

Killing you would just spawn more like you that would in turn still endanger countless others with similar stupidity.

Despite the creekster like spellings in this post, I agree.

I do not believe I'd personally do too much, as I do not enjoy hurting people. It makes me sick, but when the juices are flowing and my family is in danger, I could see myself pummeling somebody.

I also do not see Mike as a meek and mild, innocent lamb who would stand by without ire. He is knowledgeable in the use of guns, he breaks noses during meaningless basketball games, he has psychological prowess, he kickboxes, he is of the sprinter mentality, and he is more liberal in LDS religiosity, so I see nothing as a predictor that Mike would be mild.

Creek and I might punch or kick somebody, if worrying about legal liability didn't stop us. But Mike would know where he could punch, kick, stab or slice in order to cause the most pain.

Sure, murder and rape to save your family. But don't expect that you will be spared punishment, both temporal and eternal.

I don't think it is a very good bargain, myself, to trade this earth for the eternities.
