Default Weber State will make a cameo in the NCAA's

Good for the Wildcats. They have had a lot more tournament success than they ought to have had. I don't think that this year will add to that legacy.

Mostly, I just look forward to hearing people call them Weh-ber State. That is always good for a laugh.

One of my all-time favorite tournament upsets was the 15th seed Weber State knocking out #2 seed North Carolina. That was such a fun game to watch.

I believe that was the year that the Wildcats were knocked out by a Georgetown buzzer beater the next round. A fun game, but bummer ending. No apologies to SU.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Not only was it a buzzer beater, but it was similar to the NC State Air ball that won them their national title. The Gtown player lobbed up a wild three pointer and if memory serves, Don Reid grabed it out of the air and put it in with his back to the basket.
