Probably depends on where you stand. Watch Frontline's The Mormons. She was heavily featured and seemed like a very interesting person to have over for dinner.

In what way was this woman interesting enough to have to dinner, did she have particular insight into the Church, or what? |

I sensed her sadness at her excommunication. She obviously had some interesting views, which I think would be fun to explore. But I'm only going on what I saw on TV.

Just for the record, people are talking about and seem to be conflating two different people. Paul wrote the book that Solon is talking about and Margaret (his wife) was in the PBS documentary.

You're such an apologist.

It gets worse. I have read a fair amount of Paul and Margaret's work mostly in Dialogue articles. I have read more of Paul's work than her work. I can't say I am a big fan. I mean I do appreciate there intellectual contribution and that they are both very smart people. However (and its been a while), don't really remember finding their articles that insightful and careful. Still, it has been a while so I don't have a lot of specifics to offer and their work rightly deserves a more specific critique if I am going to be somewhat negative. I know this is not surprising given that I am such an apologist.
