How do you conservatives feel about the govt. picking up the tab? Should it be financed solely by private moneys?

Medicaid is already in existence. I can't complain about it.

I'm against the socialized medicine that Obama wants to force on us on top of Medicaid.

Try again.

In a perfect world, would the govt. pay for this kid's healthcare?

In a perfect world, the kid wouldn't have been injured.

Hey, you asked.

Ok, I'll play the game you want me to play.

In my perfect world, the only need for government would be to provide national defense and infrastructure. Citizens would not be dependent on the government for anything else.

Is it different in your perfect world?

There are multiple avenues for this family to receive monies.

Medicade, crime victims reparations, donations, the hospital writing off huge chunks of it.

I would be very surprised if this family pays much if anything out of pocket for this tragedy.

As for the feds picking up a portion of it, I can't think of someone more deserving of the monies than this family.

Liberals should make the world perfect so no harm nor accident befalls anybody, no liberty exists and we're all told what to do from cradle to grave.

Last night on the news there was a story about a kid in Orem whose friends wrapped him in toilet paper like a mummy, then one of the kids lit the toilet paper on fire, the kids brother stopped it and his shoe caught on fire, he shook his shoe and the flaming piece of toilet paper flew on to his brother and he went up in flames. Very serious burns he is at Primary Childrens, and to top it all off Bridger Hunt (the fireworks victim) is his best friend. This kid had written him a ton of letters and even visited a few times.
