Default Under Tornado Warning right now!

Sirens going and announcements to be prepared to seek shelter immediately.

I didn't realize Tennessee got a lot of tornadoes (at least enough to have a warning system). Of course, now that I think about it, Tennessee has a lot of tornado magnets so it makes sense they would get a lot of tornadoes.

Hoping you and yours come through it safely...

I've been here 16 days and this is already my second tornado watch. The weather service says a tornado struck down in Senatobia, 25 miles south of me, and is moving northeast at 50 mph.

Quite a lightning storm going on. I'm youtubing the footage right now.

I would suggest getting shelter rather than posting.

There are reports of another one on Goodman Road and Hwy 61, which is 4 miles from me.

I was at a large grocery store and didn't notice anything. Apparently all of the excitement came and went in about 20 minutes time.

We're due for some crazy weather down here too, but nothing yet. I remember my first tornado warning in Memphis. The sirens did freak me out a bit.

The local news is showing where the wall at a Sears in the Hickory Ridge Mall was ripped off, and the power is out and people are trapped.

When I was a missionary, we lived in the apartment complex across the street from the mall.

They just read a statement because viewers are calling in and asking why they aren't showing American Idol.
