I didn't say there wasn't.

So what? Women and homosexual men can't have the same tastes?

Hey, it's ALL speculation. I offered my opinion based on the available information. For all we know, Hardy was hosting mass orgies at his home, but without any kind of facts such wild speculation seems pointless.

Don't you think the reason the guy got kicked out was he was publicly going against church leadership. Why isn't that a good enough reason to kick the guy out and let it go at that.

It seems everytime someone gets the boot or punished a lot of people have to have it be something worse than the guy just bucked authority. That happened with the BB player at BYU. It had to be he was doing something more than disobeying his Bishop or SP.

I don't care what group you belong to, the worst thing you can do is try to bring down the leadership. That is a kickout offense in any group.

It is likely that played a contributing factor, though I doubt it was the only consideration.

why are people in questionable jobs allowed to hold positions of responsibility?

I don't get why a stake president can be a bartender, but this guy can't publish a calendar with guys with no shirt.

Seems quite simple to me. The bartender isn't in the media eye. If he were voted bartender of the year and became the national spokesman for "bartenders of America". If every interview he gave it mentioned he was a mormon. I have no doubt the guy would be called in for an interview.

Take BYU for example. Do you think a transgression against the HC is handled the same at BYU if it 1) is kept quiet vs 2) hits the media.

As we've already discussed (and you undoubtedly understand), I doubt the shirtless calender itself got him into as much trouble as his use of the LDS name to market it.

Message board operators. Though some already fit into multiple categories above.
