Default Coaches Hot Seat on Lee Corso and BYU

Quote:
In the ESPN GameDay coverage from Ohio State before the game Lee Corso said the following, paraphrased:

“I would never vote for BYU over a 1 loss team from the Pac-10, Big 12, Big Ten or SEC, but not the ACC and Big East.”

Now, Coach Corso, you know we love you and if you needed anything just drop us a note and we would be there with it, but the above statement is outrageous and it points to the incredible arrogance by many people in the media and folks on the inside of college football. That Lee Corso could make such a blanket statement, after BYU beat Oklahoma in Dallas, Houston beat Oklahoma State in Stillwater, and Central Michigan beat Michigan State in East Lansing already this year shows the incredible arrogance of people in the media and how incredibly stupid the postseason system in college football really is. How anyone could make such a statement when it has been proved this season and in years past that these “non-BCS” schools can beat the best teams in the game, as proven by Oklahoma losses to Boise State, TCU and BYU in recent years. Does Coach Corso not remember those games or is he so stuck in the past and trying to prop up the bogus BCS that he would just say the hell with the student-athletes at BYU, Boise State, Houston, TCU, etc., who are treated like second-class citizens by many members of the media? Corso’s view, which is shared by many in the media, is not only outrageous, but it is incredibly un-American because it is founded in the belief that All Americans Are NOT Equal. All we can say to people that think that way is: Who in Hell raised you and where in the Hell did you go to school where they taught you to think that way, because it sure the Hell wasn’t in the United States of America.

Forget Coach Corso and treating some Americans as second-class citizens, think about the argument from the morons that support the BCS that the BCS “makes the regular season more important.” When you hear that argument from someone you are either looking at someone that is making a mint or holds lots of power because of the BCS or you are looking at a moron. From the first pregame shows in college football each Saturday, through all of the games on gameday, and until the postgame shows go off approaching midnight, all of these clowns talk about the BCS incessantly and not enough about the regular season. If the BCS makes the regular season more relevant, why are these clowns not talking about the regular season games that they are covering that day more? Also, if the NFL playoff make the NFL regular season less relevant, why is nobody covering NFL games talking about the playoffs until almost the end of the regular season? Did anyone watch an NFL game yesterday and heard people talking incessantly about the postseason playoffs? Of course not, but the BCS is all that people in college football ever talk about it, and that is HURTING not HELPING the college football regular season. You could tell some people anything, like “the BCS makes the regular season more important” and they will repeat like parrot. Ever wonder how Hitler came to power? Just watch how people in the media parrot the lines put in front of them by the BCS Boys.

Answer to the above questions: The BCS is so absurd because it limits the bogus title game to two teams and that seems to be the reason that people talk about all the time, or rather the BCS is really a large pile of horseshit that warps the college football regular season in a BAD way, not GOOD. If college football had an 8-team or 16-team playoff then everyone could actually focus on the regular season games and quit talking about the postseason until later in the year, but right now people have been talking about the BCS from the first kickoff of the season! That is great for the BCS Boys, but terrible for the teams, players, coaches, and regular season games. Right now, we still have 10 or 11 games to go in the regular season and conference championship games where a million different things could happen and these people that are clearly idiots must have nothing better to do, because they are talking about the bogus BCS at the expense of the great games that are going on each week. The BCS is a fraud and anyone with an IQ over room temperature knows it is a fraud, but if you put enough money into someone’s pocket through these TV contracts, invite them to enough parties throughout the year and at meaningless exhibition bowl games, then people will talk about anything you tell them to talk about. “Oh, the BCS makes the regular season more important? ….Yea, that sounds right, so let me repeat, the BCS makes the regular season more important…”
“What am I supposed to say? ….Heil Hitler?….. OK, Heil Hitler it is!”

Please, turn on your brains folks!

Lee Corso is already trying to make the case that an undefeated BYU doesn't deserve to be in the "title" game over, say, a 1-loss Big 10 team. These bigots have to start early.
