I can't say I was ever any good at those three sports particularly, but I liked them (basketball esp).

I don't really even try to strike up a friendship with someone I know doesn't participate in or follow sports. Once we get past "Hello", there will nothing to talk about.

You played baseball for Marist, right?

I'm thinking that's on par athletically to a guy that comes off the bench for an average ward basketball team.
