Default Most underated players

So I saw the overated thread,,,how bout we do an underated thread.

For BYU underated is easy.

David Oswald. On a line with the Reynolds boys, Bright and Feinga,,,David Oswald has improved tremendously and has been dominant with his play this year. He's gone way under the radar.

I can say the same for Brett Denney on the D-line. He's quietly had a VERY good year.

For Utah.

Koa Misi..playing in Kruger's shadow on the other side of the line,,,but I think he's better than Kruger.

Braden Godfrey...the ultimate security blanket for Brian Johnson.

I agree with all of those players. I will add Louie Sakoda to the list. I know he gets pub but I dont think he can get enough for how good he actually is.

Also Koa Misi is a very good player, I wonder however if both he and Denney get the numbers they do because they have Kruger and Jorgensen on the other side drawing so much attention?

Good call on both Misi and Godfrey, though I don't think Misi is better than Kruger - I'd say they're about equal.

Edit: I need to add Mike Wright to the list of underrated Utah players. The guy has been a surprise to me at LB. Dude is all over the field making tackles.

I've only watched about a total of 20 minutes of BYU football this year, so I can't comment on anyone.

I'd also add Greg Newman to that list...as an undersized tackle, he's been all over the field and has really helped the D this year.

For BYU, I'd say that Fui Vakapuna is largley underared in regard to his role on the team.

I know he's been debated a lot, so I'm not sure he can be thrown into the discussion, but it seems like Reed's YAC are way up this year. He's been awesome.

Also, it seems like I haven't heard Russell T's name called as much. I realize is position doesn't involve much glamour, but is he having a down year? Or is it more that he's doing the dirty work?
