My LDS region scheduled a three-day encampment
That is fine and dandy. It starts on a Thurs. during spring break and goes thru Sat.
Here's my issue: I don't much feel like taking a day or two's vacation for it. This summer I'll have taken 3 weeks off for scouting in 3 years (summer camp), and I only get 3 weeks per year. Am I being too selfish? I'm thinking about telling the parents to step up to the plate, letting them know that I'll meet up with them Friday night after work. |

Mitt would suggest that you ask the parents to pony up. I've already signed up for half a week at summer camp this year. The SM said he can't get time off.
Remember, always look to Mitt.

Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |
