When Medved was here speaking the other day, someone asked him who would get the nod for the 2008 elections. He said that Mitt was a long shot but that he had shot himself in the foot with some stuff he's done to make the liberals happy in Mass.

According to Medved the only guy on the horizon is McCain...

He predicts Clinton vs. McClain, McClain in a landslide.

17% of those asked wouldn't vote for an LDS candidate.

I'd guess that nobody was asked if they'd vote for a Jewish candidate.

17% is not too shabby based on the poll that was posted on CB recently. I expected worse.

I believe that those numbers would go even lower once the campaign started and they got to know Romney and see him in action. Not that I am necessarily a huge Romney fan, I just think that once you get to know someone, even if it is a bit superficial, you tend to feel less threatened by them.

But then again, what do I know?
