Not sure why a California initiative warrants an editorial position by a Utah newspaper, but there you go.

More of the same.

I couldn't care less if they publish said editorial. It just seems unusual.

[Legalization of gay marriage will lead to] "forcing Christian doctors to perform medical procedures that violate their conscience."

Anybody know what they are talking about? I honestly have no idea. Usually this type of statement pertains to abortion, but what do gays have to do with abortion? Are they talking about forcing doctors to perform sex change operations or something? Strange.

"Courts should not intervene in matters best left to the democratic process."

That is pretty much the exact sentence that was printed in newspapers all over the South to defend segregation. If the majority of people want it, how can it be wrong?

I'm guessing it has to do with in-vitro fertilization.

An out of state newspaper editorial means about the same as an out of state resident editorial.

Squat.
